Was a straight-A student who graduated the valedictorian of her high school class

Carla and her mother moved from Florida to California when she was five years old. They didn't stay planted though and moved constantly.

Was spotted my a major modeling company in San Diego and they sent her to New York to begin her career when she was 15 years old.

Carla and her mother lived in a teepee outside of Chicago at one time. Carla said she lived off of the land and took baths in streams.

Was the model for L'Oreal hair products in 1999.
